Interior Design
Before starting Lavender & Sage in 2006 I spent 15 years working as an interior designer and property restorer, both in England and in France. I have been lucky enough to be able to work on almost every single type of design and restoration you can image. Tiny cottages, large country houses, bungalows, even sheds; modern, country or period styles; garden landscaping and garden structures; just one room in the house, or the entire property inside and out. My work has involved everything ranging from painstakingly restoring a medieval property to redesigning a modern bungalow.
A project does not have to be huge or involve large sums of money to be interesting. Design is design, and as such it always fascinates me. So if you're not a million miles from where I live in Alfriston, East Sussex, and you have a design or restoration query - whether it be your 10 bedroom house's interior that needs rethinking, or your '2 up 2 down' which is on the market, but is not selling - just drop me a line (mayke@lavenderandsage.co.uk).
